It was a great pleasure to hold our first music showcase at the very popular venue Farrs school of Dancing, in the creative dome of Dalston, East London.
On the evening of the 30th August 2018 we experienced amazing performances by musicians Callum Seuss, Jason Condison and Ovidijus Pinevicius. One of our students and youngest performer Israel confidently displayed his incredible drumming skills.
The unique spin on this event was an interactive rhythm session led by myself, it was lots of fun creating different rhythmic patterns with the audience and testing their musical ears.
We were also blessed to have Caleb Newton, a talented photographer and creative, come along and capture those historical moments. If you need a sleek photographer his details will be at the end of this blog.
So I guess your thinking why did we have this event? The whole idea is to provide a platform for our Tutors, who are also professional musicians, and our students to showcase their talents.
At Adlib Music we want others to taste the delicacies of raw, local London talent.
Overall a successful night so much so that music lovers came from the bar and walked in to experience Ovidijus guitar melodies, Jason’s momentous drumming, Callum’s monster grooves and Israels inspirational drumming journey so far.
We are excited to hold the next event, look out for some more fresh musical talent being showcased right here in East London.
